Quinn Truitt, along with his son and beloved family pet, tragically lost their lives in a devastating car crash on May 13 in Arizona’s Interstate 10. The Arizona Department of Public Safety has launched an investigation into the incident, treating it as a potential homicide.

The fatal collision occurred shortly after 3 p.m. near milepost 25 on Interstate 10. Initial reports from crash investigators reveal that a passenger sedan traveling eastbound encountered halted traffic within a construction zone. In a bid to avoid collision, the sedan maneuvered abruptly, ultimately colliding with a second vehicle and thrusting it into a third.

The sedan, deemed responsible for the collision, continued its course eastward, subsequently striking a third and fourth vehicle before finally halting. Tragically, the occupants of the vehicle initially impacted by the sedan succumbed to their injuries.

The victims have been identified as Quinn Truitt, hailing from Tucson, his 5-year-old son Michael Truitt, and their loyal canine companion. The Truitt family was affiliated with the military stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.

While the Arizona Department of Public Safety is treating the crash as a potential homicide, the identity of the individual possibly accountable for the fatal incident has not been disclosed.

In light of this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to aid Quinn Truitt’s wife and their family in managing expenses during this difficult time.
