Fatal Reno crash death of Kenneth Amey – Obituary
The Nevada State Police reported Monday that Kenneth Amey, aged 25 and a resident of Reno, was identified as the driver killed in a fatal collision on U.S. 395 at Clear Acre Lane on May 31.
According to preliminary findings, Amey was traveling southbound on U.S. 395 near the Clear Acre Lane exit ramp when his 1998 Ford Explorer veered out of the travel lane under unknown circumstances. The vehicle struck the center median, spun around, crossed the southbound lanes, and tumbled down a dirt embankment where it overturned, authorities stated.
Amey, who was ejected from the vehicle during the incident, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by authorities.
