Kenneth Amey, aged 25 and a resident of Reno, has been identified as the victim in a tragic rollover crash that occurred on May 31.

Amey was driving the vehicle involved in the incident.

The crash occurred on US-395 southbound near Clear Acre Lane at approximately 11:15 p.m.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Amey was driving a white 1998 Ford Explorer southbound on US-395 approaching Clear Acre Lane.

For reasons currently under investigation, Amey’s vehicle veered out of the travel lane, struck the center median, and subsequently overturned.

After leaving the roadway, the vehicle continued down an embankment, where it rolled over.

Amey, who was ejected from the vehicle, succumbed to his injuries and tragically passed away at the scene.

The Nevada State Police Patrol Northern Command West Multidisciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) is actively investigating this devastating crash.

Nevada State Police responded to the scene of the crash around 10:15 p.m. on May 31, where they discovered a single SUV that had rolled over.

According to initial reports from NSP, the SUV was the sole vehicle involved in the crash, with only the driver inside.

The driver was pronounced deceased after being transported to a hospital.

Following the incident, the Clear Acre Lane off-ramp and one lane of southbound US-395 were closed for several hours.
