Fatal Reno rollover crash death of Kenneth Amey – Obituary
A tragic incident unfolded late in May when a young man lost his life in a rollover accident on US-395 in Reno. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol swiftly responded to the scene at US-395 southbound and Clear Acre Lane, arriving around 11:15 p.m. on May 31.
Initial findings from the investigation suggest that Kenneth Amey, a 25-year-old resident of Reno, was driving a white 1998 Ford Explorer southbound on US-395, approaching the Clear Acre Lane offramp. Suddenly, and for reasons not yet determined, the vehicle veered out of its lane, collided with the center median, and spun around.
The Ford then traversed across the southbound lanes before careening off the paved road onto a dirt embankment, where it overturned. Tragically, Kenneth Amey was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the accident site.
