Fatal Beltsville car crash death of Tamecka Allen – Obituary**
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating the cause of a deadly three-vehicle collision, which included a dump truck, that occurred in Beltsville on Friday.
On June 21 at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers responded to an accident near the intersection of Old Gunpowder Road and Sinope Way. Preliminary findings by the PGPD indicate that the crash took place in the northbound lanes of Old Gunpowder Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved was identified as 41-year-old Tamecka Allen from Springfield. She was declared dead at the scene.
Passengers and the drivers of both the car and the dump truck sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police reports.
