Fatal Pueblo shooting death of Angelo Isahia Rodgers – Obituary

A young man discovered wounded inside a parked vehicle early on Wednesday morning, November 29, in Pueblo has been identified by the Pueblo County Coroner.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD), officers were initially called to the scene shortly after 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday following reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Wheatridge Drive, located west of Lake Minnequa. Upon arrival, officers located 22-year-old Angelo Isahia Rodgers inside a car parked on the street, suffering from severe injuries.

Angelo Isahia Rodgers was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, as confirmed by the Pueblo County Coroner.

While the official cause and manner of Angelo Isahia Rodgers’ death will be determined by the coroner, authorities are treating the case as a homicide. As of Wednesday, no suspects have been apprehended. This incident marks the 23rd homicide in Pueblo for the year 2023.
