Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Gene Bass – Obituary
Fort Worth authorities are probing a drive-by shooting that claimed the life of a man outside his residence. Responding to a call on Friday just prior to 2:30 p.m., officers arrived at the scene on Chesapeake Bay Drive, discovering a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. Tragically, he was pronounced deceased at the location. The victim, later identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as 54-year-old Gene Bass, fell victim when an unidentified assailant approached his residence and unleashed multiple gunshots before swiftly departing. Fort Worth police have launched an investigation into the incident.
