Delaware State Police have confirmed that King Dona lost his life in a vehicle collision in Delmar on Friday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., Dona was driving a Subaru Outback southbound on Providence Church Road when he failed to adhere to a stop sign at Delmar Road. His vehicle was subsequently struck by a Nissan Rogue that was traveling on Delmar Road.
Dona was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 40-year-old female driver of the Nissan, along with her three child passengers, sustained minor injuries that are not life-threatening.
