Maryland State Police (MSP) are investigating a tragic motorcycle collision that occurred on Saturday evening in Largo.
According to MSP, the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. near I-495 at Branch Avenue, where they were called to respond to a collision involving a motorcycle.
Reports indicate that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading north on I-495 when it collided with the rear of a Dodge.
Tragically, Quintin Barnes, 37, from Reisterstown, Maryland, who was operating the Harley Davidson, and Jasmine Jeffries, 19, a passenger whose location was unspecified, succumbed to their injuries at the scene, as confirmed by MSP.
Emergency services transported the driver and another passenger from the Dodge to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to this devastating crash.
