Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Turner – Obituary**
A tragic incident unfolded at an apartment on Jasper Road within the College Hills community.
A makeshift memorial was erected by a family friend at the site of a quadruple homicide in Birmingham. Over the course of five days, more than two dozen individuals were shot in Jefferson County.
Authorities were alerted to the scene following a ShotSpotter alert reporting 10 rounds fired around 1:30 a.m.
Approximately 20 minutes later, another call came in reporting a shooting.
Responding officers discovered Turner lying motionless on the kitchen floor. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to investigators, the assailant allegedly fired at Turner from the rear entrance of the apartment.
Law enforcement has detained one individual for questioning.
