Fatal Fall River box truck accident claims the life of Jean Revil – Obituary
The Bristol County District Attorney’s office has identified Jean Revil, 67, of Dartmouth, as the victim in a deadly box truck accident that occurred in Fall River.
On Wednesday, Revil was struck and killed by a reversing box truck driven by a 25-year-old. A 64-year-old man from Bristol was also hit during the incident.
The tragic event took place at around noon at 214 Joseph Drive.
Both victims, along with the driver and three other individuals, were present to pick up a dresser as part of their work with My Brother’s Keeper, an organization that manages the delivery and pickup of donated furniture.
The Bristol man was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The Fall River police and Massachusetts State Police detectives, assigned to the district attorney’s office, are continuing to investigate the incident.
