Fatal Bexar County shooting death of Alexis Jose Vegas – Obituary
Authorities in Bexar County have identified the teenager who was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds earlier this month.
The victim, 19-year-old Alexis Jose Vegas, was found on July 1st lying on a grassy embankment along the 6200 block of U.S. 281. A passerby noticed Vegas motionless and promptly contacted emergency services. Unfortunately, Vegas was declared deceased at the scene.
A preliminary report reveals that Vegas had sustained several gunshot wounds. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has classified the death as a homicide.
The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating the case, but no suspects have been named as of yet.
