Authorities in Kerrville are actively searching for a man suspected of fatally shooting a woman inside an apartment with three children present.
The tragic event unfolded early Saturday morning at approximately 1:20 a.m. in an apartment located near the intersection of Meeker Rd and Hunt St.
According to the Kerrville Police Department, Gabriel Alemna, 29, fired at the apartment’s front door, fatally wounding 36-year-old Deanna Arispe.
At the time of the shooting, the apartment housed two adults and three children, though none of the others sustained injuries.
The suspect, Gabriel Alemna, is described as a 6’5″, 205-pound man with shoulder-length black hair, a brown beard, brown eyes, and numerous tattoos, including a Green Bay Packer G beneath his left eye, cursive names above both eyebrows, a starburst under his left eye, and multiple tattoos across his neck, arms, and hands.
A Ring doorbell camera has identified Alemna as the potential perpetrator. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
