Fatal Richfield car crash death of Eloy Saucedo Gonzalez – Obituary
A driver lost his life in a crash on Interstate 35W in Richfield late Friday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that around 11:15 p.m., a Toyota Tacoma heading south on I-35W struck the guardrail on the right shoulder near the 66th Street exit. The Tacoma then veered across all lanes, colliding with a Toyota Prius and the left shoulder barrier before both vehicles came to rest on the left shoulder.
The driver of the Tacoma, 35-year-old Eloy Saucedo Gonzalez from Burnsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Patrol noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Fortunately, the driver and passenger of the Prius escaped without injuries.
