Fatal Lawrence County crash claims lives of Nathan Bogacki, Grant Bogacki, and Emma Bogacki – Obituary
Three people lost their lives, and another remains critically injured following a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County.
The tragic incident occurred just after midnight on Saturday morning on State Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township.
The Pennsylvania State Police reported that a Nissan Armada, traveling south, veered into the northbound lane before leaving the roadway entirely.
The vehicle collided with two utility poles, traversed a yard, hit a parked car, went airborne, and finally came to a halt, as detailed in the police report.
Nathan Bogacki, 44, who was driving, and 13-year-old Grant Bogacki were ejected from the vehicle and declared dead at the scene, according to Lawrence County Coroner Richard M. Johnson.
Emma Bogacki, 17, was trapped in the wrecked car and was also pronounced dead at the scene, Coroner Johnson stated.
A 10-year-old girl was extricated by emergency responders and flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she remains in critical condition.
The coroner’s office confirmed that all three victims succumbed to blunt force trauma injuries.
The Lawrence County Coroner’s Office, along with the Pennsylvania State Police, will continue their investigation into the crash.
