Fatal Hopewell shooting death of Damonye Lamont Taylor and Dequante Travell Roney – Obituary
Authorities in Hopewell are probing a double homicide following a shooting incident early Sunday morning that claimed the lives of two men.
The incident occurred just after 3:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Radford Drive. When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds.
Damonye Lamont Taylor, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, Dequante Travell Roney, 30, was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries there.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event is still underway.
