Fatal Indianapolis shooting death of Gabriel Pedraza – Obituary
Early Monday morning, Gabriel Pedraza was found shot to death inside a residence on the southeast side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis police.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified Pedraza, 18, later that morning.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported that officers responded to a 911 call at around 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Nelson Avenue, near Garfield Park and Shelby Street.
Upon arrival, they encountered a woman who informed them that a man had been shot in a nearby house.
Officers discovered Pedraza with a gunshot wound. Initially, he was reported to be in critical condition, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators found a firearm inside the home, but it has not been confirmed whether it was involved in the shooting.
