Authorities have revealed the identity of the individual critically injured in a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on Tuesday night in South Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers responded to the scene at the intersection of 144th Street and University Avenue just before 9:15 p.m. after receiving reports of the accident.
Upon arrival, officers found 40-year-old Adam Pearson, who was subsequently transported to UMC by ambulance with severe injuries.
Initial findings from the police investigation indicate that Pearson’s motorcycle was trailing an SUV when the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The investigation into the accident is still underway, according to authorities.
