Fatal Vienna car crash death of Clint E. Gibson – Obituary
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified Clint E. Gibson, 50, from Bristolville, as the victim of a car accident that occurred in Vienna on Wednesday afternoon.
Gibson was driving a Dodge Caravan southbound on state Route 11 when his vehicle veered off the road and into the woods near the 51-mile marker, just after 4 p.m.
The Dodge Caravan left the roadway, colliding with a log and several trees before coming to a stop. Gibson suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
According to Highway Patrol Lt. Erik Golias, “The 1997 Dodge Caravan was traveling southbound on state Route 11 when it veered off the road, hitting logs and trees.”
The Howland and Vienna township fire departments, along with the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office, were on the scene to assist. The incident is currently under investigation.
