An 81-year-old man involved in a tragic collision on Interstate 75, which resulted in the death of a Michigan State Police trooper, will have to wait longer to stand trial.
Duncan A. Erving’s trial, originally scheduled to start with jury selection on Tuesday morning, July 23, before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson, has been postponed to allow for further plea negotiations.
If these negotiations succeed, it could potentially lead to the trial being avoided altogether.
