Families in North Carolina and Georgia are grieving after five lives were tragically lost in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. and involved three tractor-trailers and two SUVs in Wilson County.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP), a tractor-trailer transporting orange juice collided with two SUVs and another tractor-trailer that was carrying eggs. A third tractor-trailer, hauling sand, was also impacted.
