Fatal Fort Worth hydroplane accident death of Jesus Castillo – Obituary
A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday when 64-year-old Fort Worth resident Jesus Castillo lost his life after his vehicle hydroplaned and crashed into a stationary 18-wheeler near Salado.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Ryan Howard, Castillo was pronounced dead at the scene on Interstate 35, close to FM-2115, south of Salado.
Reports from the responding officers indicated that Castillo’s SUV was traveling north around 7:15 a.m. when it skidded on the wet road and collided with the truck parked on the shoulder near Mile Marker #283.
No additional injuries were reported in this incident.
