A man from Mississippi, identified as Shontae Pratt, 36, from Houston, was found dead after a car he was in crashed into the rear of a residence in Hall County, Georgia, this past weekend.
According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, Pratt had been discovered inside the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds following a call reporting a shooting at Aster Place. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Jeremy Gambrel, 38, has been apprehended and faces charges including murder, aggravated assault with intent to kill, and firearm possession during a felony.
Gambrel was arrested at the crime scene and reportedly sustained minor injuries. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the shooting is ongoing, with further details yet to be disclosed.
