Authorities have identified Wyatt Tritz, 29, from Dumont, as the victim of a deadly accident that occurred earlier this week in western Minnesota.
The collision happened on Tuesday morning near Graceville, along southbound Highway 75.
The crash involved a Kenworth Semi-Trailer and a Ford Escape, both heading southbound, which resulted in a fatal outcome for Tritz, who was a passenger in the Ford Escape.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 22-year-old, along with a newborn baby, were rushed to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with severe injuries. The 38-year-old driver of the Kenworth Semi-Trailer from Pierz was unharmed in the incident.
