Fatal Northwest D.C. shooting death of Deangelo Jones – Obituary
The Metropolitan Police Department has identified the victim of the recent shooting in Northwest Washington, D.C. as Deangelo Jones, a 34-year-old resident of the area.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the 600 block of O Street when police were called to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had been shot. Both were rushed to the hospital, but Jones later succumbed to his injuries. The second man is receiving treatment for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Additionally, a third individual who arrived at the hospital on his own is also being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or to send a tip via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
The MPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this crime.
