Fatal Council Bluffs motorcycle crash death of Rodney Worley – Obituary
Council Bluffs Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision over the weekend.
Rodney Worley, a 38-year-old resident of Council Bluffs, lost his life in a crash that occurred at the intersection of South 17th Street and Second Avenue on Saturday afternoon, according to a police report.
Authorities revealed that Worley’s motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a truck operated by 39-year-old Todd Hays, also from Council Bluffs.
Worley was rushed to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he later passed away due to injuries sustained in the accident.
A memorial service for Worley is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at the Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. An obituary notes that he “loved to fish, to ride, his music, and his dog.”
