Fatal shooting death of Romualdy Pierre-Charles – Obituary
A 22-year-old man, Romualdy Pierre-Charles, was fatally shot late Wednesday night, according to family members who spoke with WCVB.
Authorities arrived at 27 Vesey St. just before midnight following reports of gunfire.
Police radio transmissions described masked men dressed in black clothing and reported that eight shots were fired, as per WCVB. By Thursday, bullet holes and broken blinds were visible in a first-floor window.
Family members identified the victim as Romualdy Pierre-Charles, who was found in the backyard. He lived at the residence with his parents and two adult siblings.
“He was like a son to me; we attended the same church,” his cousin Rosenide Pierre-Charles shared with WCVB.
Neighbors reported to WCVB that a black sedan was seen fleeing the scene of the shooting.
