Fatal Canyon County car crash death of Zuleyka Angulo – Obituary
A tragic car accident last week near Star has claimed the life of 17-year-old Zuleyka Angulo from Boise.
Angulo was operating a 2011 Ford Focus when it was struck head-on by a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado on State Highway 44 on Thursday, July 19, at 8:40 p.m.
The Silverado, driven by a 30-year-old man from Middleton, was traveling westbound and veered into the opposite lane to overtake a semi-truck, resulting in the collision. Angulo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both of Angulo’s juvenile passengers and the Chevrolet’s driver were taken to the hospital.
