Fatal Houston shooting death of Alberto Posada – Obituary
A 25-year-old man, Alberto Posada, has tragically died following a shooting in Houston. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on June 9th in the 9700 block of Homestead Road.
According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), Posada was pursued by another vehicle and fired upon as he arrived at Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.
The suspects, who were seen fleeing the scene in a white 2011-2012 Mazda CX-9 SUV, are being sought by authorities. Posada sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was subsequently transferred to another hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on June 11.
The investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation at a nearby gas station, which escalated into a road rage incident. HPD has identified five persons of interest in connection with this case.
