Fatal Midland motorcycle crash claims the life of Ronald Lee Rice Jr. – Obituary
MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Midland Police Department is looking into a motorcycle accident that resulted in the death of a Gardendale man early Saturday morning.
According to the MPD, officers were dispatched to a motorcycle crash around 1:28 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, in the 11120 block of State Highway 191.
Upon investigation, authorities determined that a 2003 Harley Davidson, traveling east on SH 191, veered off the road “for an unknown reason.” The rider, identified as 56-year-old Ronald Lee Rice Jr., from Gardendale, was discovered lying near the motorcycle in the center median of SH 191.
Rice was declared dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
