4-Year-Old Dies in Fatal Concord Township Crash

Fatal Concord Township Car Crash Death of 4-Year-Old Boy – Obituary

A tragic accident in Concord Township has claimed the life of a 4-year-old boy. On Saturday at around 4:06 p.m., a collision occurred between a silver 2015 Dodge Durango and a black 2025 Honda Pilot, resulting in several injuries and the death of the young child.

According to the State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when the Honda Pilot failed to yield at a stop sign on Moore Road at State Route 745 and was hit by the Dodge Durango. Both vehicles ended up off the roadway.

The Honda Pilot then collided with a mailbox, fire hydrant, and a tree before overturning. The vehicle carried three occupants: a 4-year-old boy and two adults aged 40 and 41. The two adults were taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries, while the child was transported to another facility, where he later died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Durango struck a tree and was carrying two adults, aged 47 and 53, along with three children aged 7, 9, and 16. The adults and the 16-year-old were admitted to a different hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The 7- and 9-year-old were taken to the same hospital as the 4-year-old, where they received treatment for minor injuries.
