Fatal St. Louis shooting death of Dameon Kennedy-Henderson – Obituary
A teenager has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred overnight in The Greater Ville neighborhood.
Dameon Kennedy-Henderson, a 17-year-old from Ferguson, Missouri, was discovered with gunshot wounds just before 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Elmbank Avenue.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, Kennedy-Henderson was found at the entrance of a home and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
Homicide detectives have been assigned to the case, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available. Initially, police had listed Kennedy-Henderson as an unidentified adult “John Doe” before confirming his identity.
