Timothy Crowe, 50, lost his life in a car crash on July 26 on McClelland Circle in Georgetown, as identified by authorities.
The Scott County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Crowe was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Another person involved in the collision suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
UPDATE July 26, 7:25 p.m.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, the crash happened around 4:00 p.m. when a car traveling south on McClelland Circle crossed the center line and struck a northbound car.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, identified as Crowe, died as a result of the crash, police stated.
The roadway has since been reopened.

A fatal accident occurred on McClelland Circle in Georgetown between Long Lick Pike and Betsy Way on Friday, officials reported.
The crash led to the closure of Betsy Way and the roundabout at Long Lick Pike.
The Georgetown/Scott County Traffic Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident.
