Fatal Lewes scooter crash claims the life of Chester Poslusny – Obituary
Delaware State Police have confirmed that Chester Poslusny, a 77-year-old resident of Lewes, lost his life in a scooter accident on Monday.
The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. as Poslusny was traveling east on his scooter while a 19-year-old woman from Cheswold was driving a Honda Accord westbound on Clay Road.
According to an initial investigation, the Honda turned left onto Marsh Road, crossing into the scooter’s path. This led to a collision in which Poslusny was thrown from his scooter.
Poslusny was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda was unharmed, according to police.
