FOX13 News has confirmed the identity of one of the three individuals who tragically lost their lives on Sunday in a hit-and-run collision.

In a conversation with FOX13, Lewis recounted the family’s reaction upon learning of the incident involving a long-time friend of Boyd’s. “We received a call from a mutual friend who informed us about the situation. We had grown up together but only discovered today that they were together in the car,” Lewis shared.

The accident occurred on Hickory Hill Road near Sunny Morning Drive, where investigators noted that at least one utility pole was hit, causing power lines to fall.
Lewis highlighted Boyd’s deep affection for children, stating, “When I say she loved kids, she truly adored them.” He described his cousin as a person who was thoughtful and willing to share her resources generously.
