Fatal Riverdale shooting death of Isaias Lopez of Coalinga – Obituary
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim of a Riverdale shooting as 35-year-old Isaias Lopez from Coalinga.
The incident occurred shortly before midnight on July 24 at the intersection of W. Mount Whitney Avenue and Garfield Avenue. Authorities discovered Lopez outside a residence in the area, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the shooting.
According to detectives, a group of acquaintances was present at the home when the disturbance erupted, leading to gunfire. The identity of the shooter remains unknown, and no arrests have been made thus far.
