Kidus Ayele of Seattle dies in fatal Broadway alley shooting.

Fatal Broadway alley shooting death of Kidus Ayele of Seattle – Obituary.

Over the weekend, Kidus Ayele was fatally shot and left in a Broadway alley. Police discovered Ayele near Broadway and Spruce early Saturday morning, around 12:30 AM, after gunfire was reported.

He had been shot in the face and had multiple gunshot wounds. According to the East Precinct radio, Ayele died at the scene, as confirmed by Seattle Fire.

Seattle Police mentioned that a search for a vehicle seen speeding away from the scene was unsuccessful, and no arrests have been made.

Ayele, 30, had been a long-time resident of the area, living on Fir Street, according to Seattle Housing Authority and school records.

The King County Medical Examiner stated that Ayele’s death was due to a gunshot wound to the torso. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

This homicide marks the second fatal shooting in the East Precinct this month. Earlier, on July 1st, a 23-year-old was killed in an E Pine parking lot during the Pride weekend nightlife.
