Fatal Modesto motorcycle crash death of Alex Betancourt – Obituary
On Tuesday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue in Modesto claimed the life of 31-year-old Alex Betancourt from Oakdale. The Modesto Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 1 p.m.
Preliminary findings indicate that an Acura TLX, driven by a Manteca resident, was traveling east on Yosemite Boulevard when it collided with Betancourt’s Harley-Davidson Dyna. The impact caused Betancourt to be thrown from his motorcycle.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by both bystanders and responding officers, Betancourt succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. Authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
