Fatal Lynwood multi-vehicle collision death of Erica Pleasant – Obituary
A tragic multi-vehicle accident occurred early Thursday on the transition road between the Long Beach (710) Freeway and the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Lynwood, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Erica Pleasant.
The crash, which took place around 1:43 a.m., led to the closure of the connector road and parts of the 105 Freeway for several hours.
California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered the pedestrian and several damaged vehicles.
CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig informed City News Service that the Los Angeles County Fire Department was called in, and they pronounced Pleasant deceased at the location.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later confirmed the victim’s identity as Erica Pleasant.
