Fatal Jeffersontown shooting death of Joseph Lewis – Obituary
Joseph Lewis has been identified as the victim in a shooting incident that occurred in Jeffersontown on Tuesday. The Jefferson County deputy coroner reported that Lewis was shot at a residence on Old Six Mile Lane, near Taylorsville Road.
When police arrived at the scene around 10:30 a.m., they discovered Lewis and another woman who had both been shot. Lewis was declared dead at the scene.
The injured woman was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. She is currently in stable condition and is expected to recover.
As of now, Jeffersontown police have not disclosed any details regarding potential suspects or motives in this case.
