A devastating head-on collision in Shelby County on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of three people from Montevallo, according to the coroner. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. when a vehicle crossed the center line near the 2500 block of Highway 119 in Montevallo.
Patrick Williams, 42, was driving one of the vehicles involved in the accident. He was killed in the collision, along with the driver of the other vehicle, Patricia McCormick, 77, and her 60-year-old son, Felton Seals. McCormick, who was behind the wheel, reportedly had a medical issue that caused her to veer into oncoming traffic.
