Fatal New York City shooting death of Sandra Serrano – Obituary
In a tragic incident on Randall’s Island, 44-year-old Sandra Serrano was fatally shot in the face and back on Field 71, according to police reports. The shooting occurred near a migrant shelter in New York City.
Alongside Serrano, a 32-year-old man was injured with a gunshot wound to the throat, while a 31-year-old woman was shot in the back. Both survivors were transported to Harlem Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
Sandra Serrano was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, with no arrests made so far.
