Fatal Little Rock shooting death of Shina Holmes – Obituary
On Tuesday afternoon, Little Rock police identified Shina Holmes, 39, of Sherwood, as the victim in a tragic shooting at a southwest Little Rock apartment complex.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at the Eagle Hill Apartments on Birdie Lane, where Holmes was found shot in the parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier reports had incorrectly listed the shooting address as 4 Birdie Lane, but the official police incident report confirms the location as 6 Birdie Lane.
In connection with the shooting, authorities have arrested Earnest Holmes, 42, also from Sherwood. He faces charges including capital murder, two counts of committing a terroristic act, and one count of possessing a firearm as a restricted person.
