Fatal Hernando Shooting Deaths of Two Individuals – Obituary
In a tragic incident early this morning in Hernando, two people lost their lives and a third individual was left in critical condition following a shooting. Police were dispatched to Mason Drive at 8 a.m. on August 4 after receiving a 911 call.
Upon arrival, officers found a man and a woman with fatal gunshot wounds and pronounced them dead at the scene. Another woman, critically injured, was airlifted to Regional One Hospital for urgent medical care.
The shooting took place on a street east of McIngvale Road and north of Commerce Street. Authorities have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
