Authorities have identified 18-year-old Shane Irwin as the teenage motorcyclist who succumbed to injuries from a recent collision.
The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday when Irwin’s motorcycle collided with an elderly man’s vehicle at the intersection of Bullverde Creek and Evans Road.
The elderly driver, who had just completed a shift at McDonald’s, reported the crash to the police.
Investigators have determined the crash was accidental and found no evidence suggesting that either party was under the influence of alcohol.
