Fatal Killeen shooting death of Keman S. Greenidge – Obituary
Killeen authorities have named a person of interest in connection with a tragic shooting that occurred on Sunday, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old man.
Police responded to a call around 7:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Gemini Lane, where they discovered Keman S. Greenidge with a gunshot wound. Officers provided immediate life-saving efforts until paramedics arrived.
Greenidge was then airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, where he unfortunately passed away from his injuries. Justice of the Peace Keith Reed confirmed Greenidge’s death at 10:28 p.m.
A statement from the Killeen Police Department indicates that the suspect involved in this incident was known to Greenidge.
The investigation into this homicide is ongoing, and authorities are seeking assistance from the public.
