Fatal Stefko Boulevard Car Crash Death of Leanna Farraj – Obituary
Leanna Farraj, a 24-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost her life in a high-speed accident on Stefko Boulevard this past Sunday.
The incident, which occurred at the intersection of Stefko Boulevard and Bayard Street, resulted in fatal injuries due to blunt force trauma, as confirmed by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek, who has classified the death as accidental.
The crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Stefko Boulevard. Authorities suspect that excessive speed played a significant role in the accident, as the vehicle collided with utility poles.
Witnesses had already extricated Farraj from the vehicle by the time law enforcement arrived, and were administering first aid. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Another occupant of the car was rescued with assistance from the Bethlehem Fire Department and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. However, this individual is expected to recover, according to police.
