Fatal Pontoon Beach motorcycle crash death of Morgan Whitford – Obituary
Morgan Whitford, 29, from Granite City, was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident near Pontoon Beach.
The incident occurred on Illinois Route 111 at Timberlake Drive approximately an hour after another crash.
As reported by KMOV-4, Whitford was riding as a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle with her partner when their bike struck the front driver’s side of a Chrysler Pacifica van.
The motorcycle was thrown from the impact, and both Whitford and her partner were taken to the hospital, where she sadly passed away from her injuries.
