Fatal Independence collision death of Nicole Robbins – Obituary
Nicole Robbins, a 40-year-old resident of Independence, Missouri, has been identified as the pedestrian who tragically lost her life after being struck by a pickup truck.
On Wednesday, July 31, around 12:30 p.m., emergency services were alerted to a vehicle-pedestrian collision near Highway 78 and S. Savage St. Authorities reported that Robbins and another pedestrian were hit by a 2017 Ram 2500 as it was attempting to make a turn onto Highway 78.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Robbins was pronounced dead, while the other pedestrian was treated and later released.
