Patti Jo Craig dies in fatal Spearfish crash in Lawrence County
Fatal Spearfish crash in Lawrence County claims the life of Patti Jo Craig – Obituary
Patti Jo Craig, 69, from Watertown, tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle accident on Monday morning in Spearfish, Lawrence County, South Dakota.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:14 a.m. when a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 23-year-old Jake Maverick Olsen of Belle Fourche, attempted to turn left onto U.S. 85 from Interstate 90.
During the maneuver, the truck collided with a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle, ridden by Craig.
Unfortunately, she was not wearing a helmet at the time and succumbed to her injuries. Olsen, who was wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured in the crash.
